The Executive Committee:

It is the mandated body of the General Assembly to run the Community’s activities and manage its works in accordance with the Constitution and the Regulation and it is accountable for its performance before the General Assembly.

Assign tasks and duties to its members.

The Executive Committee is entitled to issue the necessary procedures to organize and manage the work of the Community in a way that does not contradict the Constitution, the Regulation and the resolutions of the General Assembly.
Functions and powers of the Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall:

Set up general policies and directions of the Community’s activities, as provided for under article 8 of the Constitution.

Follow up the implementation of tasks and programs of action in the Community’s bodies.

Be responsible for the administrative office work of the Community and is entitled to appoint person or persons with remuneration or without, to carry out specific tasks.

Be responsible for the financial affairs of the Community.
-
Has the right to hold members accountable according to the provisions stipulated in chapter 5 of this Regulation.

Establish units in various areas of Gauteng, according to the provisions of the constitution and the regulation, to carry out programs and objectives of the Community.

Coordinate with the Sudanese organizations that have common objects with the Community, in order to carry out joint work programs.

Approve membership applications.

Call for regular and emergency meetings of the General Assembly.

Approve decisions and recommendations of various bodies of the Community.

Present an annual report to the General Assembly.

Functions of the Executive Committee:
The Executive Committee shall:

Preside over meetings of the General Assembly and Executive Committee.

Sign grants, contracts and other commitments of the Community.

Be the official representative and spokesperson for the Community.

Follow up implementation of decisions of the General Assembly, Executive Committee and various bodies of the Community.

Supervise the administrative and operational tasks of the Community.

Mandate its powers and authority to members of the Executive Committee and various bodies of the Community in a manner that do not contradict the Constitution and the Regulation
